STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP IN HUMAN RIGHTS AND HUMANITARIAN BUSINESS PRACTICES · 2026 EDITION

The Delegation Line

Twenty decisions, one question each time: where do you draw the line? Every item below describes a decision that could be handed to an AI system. They run from the small and personal to decisions that bind companies, courts, governments and countries. For each one, choose how much of the decision you would be willing to delegate. There are no right answers — the interesting thing is where the room agrees, where it splits, and where each of us stops.

Your device has been given the short code in the corner. It identifies your answers on the class board without your name — no login, nothing personal. You can change any answer at any time; the board updates live.
The four positions — the same scale for every question:
A — Delegate fully: the AI decides and acts.
B — Delegate with oversight: the AI decides, a named human can veto.
C — Advice only: the AI recommends, a human decides.
D — No AI involvement in this decision at all.
